Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Docket ADR ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit docketadr.com or use our case workspace (the "Service").
Information We Collect
- Demo requests: name, email, phone number (optional), role, and any message you send.
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely in hashed form), or basic profile details if you sign in with Google.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive subscription status and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits, never your full card number.
- Case content: documents, decision drafts, comments, tasks, and calendar events you or your collaborators add.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and error logs, used to keep the Service working.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the Service, process subscriptions, respond to demo requests and support questions, send account and notification emails you can control in Settings, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your case content for advertising or to train AI models.
Case Documents and Confidentiality
Case content is visible only to the arbitrator and collaborators invited to that case. Access is enforced on our servers, and data is encrypted in transit. Our staff access case content only when needed to provide support you request, protect security, or comply with law.
Service Providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting and database providers, Stripe for payments, and an email delivery provider. They may use it only to perform services for us.
Optional AI File Summaries
When a case member requests an AI summary, the selected file is sent through Lovable AI to an AI processing provider using a zero-data-retention endpoint. Files are not automatically submitted on upload. Generated summaries are stored with the case and are available only to authorized case members. Summaries may contain errors or omissions and must be checked against the original filing before use in a decision. We do not use case content to train AI models.
Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service. Where permitted, we will try to notify affected users first.
Retention
We keep account and case data while your account is active. After cancellation or account closure, we may delete case content after a reasonable period. Billing records may be kept longer as required for tax and accounting.
Your Choices and Rights
You can update your profile and email preferences in Settings, export documents, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to run checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app.
